WSOP Main Event Cards Almost In The Air
Just a few more minutes and the Main Event gets going. Here's what we wrote over on our poker blog, Jacks vs. Eights:
Time now to predict the winner of this year's Main Event at the World Series of Poker...
The winner will be John Andrews.
I say this without knowing if there is even a person named John Andrews playing in this event. Apparently there are over 7,600 people registered to play so far. Now, what are the chances that someone named John Andrews is included in the field? I don't know. But this guess is probably as good as any other guess, so this is what I am going with. It might not be "Andrews" but I do have a really good feeling that the winner will be named John.
Last year, over on E.K. Nation, I picked Surinder Sunar to win, and gosh-durned if I didn't even see his name on any of the results.
Come on, John Andrews, if you even exist!
