E.K. Sports Revised LCS Prediction Spectacular
There is no rhyme or reason, usually, to any predictions that I make. Usually it's just a gut feeling. That gut correctly picked three of the four Division Series, with the sole flub being my pick of the Giants. I knew I shouldn't have done that. You can analyze the players' matchups by positions, you can look at stats, talk about intangibles, rotation, trends, what have you, but when it comes down to it, you've just got two teams playing a game that when you look back on them you say, I couldn't have predicted that.
AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES:
AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES:
So I correctly forecast this matchup in my Postseason Prediction Spectacular. Nothing has changed. I picked the Red Sox to win the World Series before the season started, so I can't deviate. Kevin Millar is still eligible for ALCS MVP honors. Red Sox in 5 games (WLWWW). NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES:
This one should go quickly too, with the Marlins absolutely stunning the Cubs and shutting down Sammy. Wrigleyville is silenced for the first two ballgames as the Marlins win by a combined score of 16-4. Series MVP goes to Ivan Rodriguez, who continues his tremendous play and gets the award partially because of the NLDS against the Giants, when he kicked our asses. Marlins in 5 games (WWLWW).
